Test Development Engineer for Optical Devices (f/m)
Job description
In your new role you will:
- Define test concepts and test strategies
- Develop optimized production test software for ATE (Automatic Test Equipment)
- Develop product specific test hardware (PCB design and layout)
- Analyze and debug new products on tester
- Be responsible for the transfer of the test packages to our production sites
- Provide ramp-up support
- Closely cooperate with concept engineering, design and verification as well as production and technology engineers regarding the test evaluation

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A university / university of applied sciences degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telematics or comparable
- 2 - 3 years work experience in test development
- Good C/C++ and Visual Basic skills
- Comprehensive know-how regarding mixed-signal testing
- Basic knowledge in mixed-signal design
- Knowledge in electrical measuring
- ATE experience on Ultraflex and/or J750 (preferred)
- Fluent English skills and good German skills
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G (www.feei.at/arbeitswelt/kv-tabellen-statistik/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-2017). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
