Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f)

Responsibilities

· Auditing of existing, new and potential suppliers

· Implementing and monitoring product development at external suppliers in the PEP process,

support of suppliers regarding production stage at critical suppliers and processes

· Problem analysis and processing of supplier-related quality issues

· Organization and implementation of process release audits

· Management of suppliers escalations

· Support the implementation of customer demands

· Continuous improvement of the quality of delivered products and supplier processes through

audits and supplier discussions

· Management and support in the event of supplier complaints

· Assisting in the development of a supplier management system

· Assisting in the extension of global SQE organization and documents

Qualifications

· Degree in Engineering or another technical subject

· At least 3 years of experience in quality, engineering and/or manufacturing in the automotive or

auto-parts industry

· Deep know how in launching new products, automotive customer specific requirements, VDA

standards, system-, product- and process audits, being familiar with Wire Harness manufacturing

is a plus

· Knowledge in measuring instruments and LPAs audits, Quality Systems Planning, including PPA,

Statistical Problem Solving and VDA Standards

· 3rd Party Process Auditor VDA6.3 and 1st. Party ISO/TS16949 Auditor

Qualifications (continuation)

· Experience with ISO14001, Lean Manufacturing Process and 6 sigma methodologies

· Fluent English, skilled in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Power Point), Minitab, SAP

· German skills are a plus

· Hands on, solution focused, excellent communication, structured, proactive, team player, resilient,

willing to travel regularly
