Currently we are looking for 1 Strategic Purchasing (m/f) Job description / tasks and responsibilities: Work with internal technical departments to properly source parts and services Negotiate vendor contracts in accordance with ams requirements and ams sourcing strategy Continuously review vendor contracts for compliance and cost effectiveness Build and maintain a strong Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) with vendors and internal customers Responsible for short and long term requirements with SRM team Support the SRM team to optimize the delivery process including resolution of delivery delays and quality issues Release orders and monitor agreements together with the project owner Education/Experience: Bachelor¿s degree (B.A./BS) from a four-year college or university or minimum of 5 years related experience Experience working in a semiconductor company with an MRP type system in a SAP environment preferred Excellent communication and Negotiation Skills Team Player Working Knowledge of MS Office Place of Employment: Unterpremstätten / Austria / Europe Collective salary and wage agreement: We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification.
