Sous Chef
The Role:

Sous Chefs are required to supervise, train, and inspect the performance of assigned Kitchen Staff, ensuring that all procedures are completed to the Hotel Standards, while working within the budgeted guidelines.
Sous Chefs must also assist where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests as well as provide support, training, direction, and focus to ensure staff members have continued success. They are required to develop an understanding of stewarding processes.
The Candidate:
- Ability to think clearly, quickly, maintain concentration and make concise decisions.
- Ability to communicate in English to the understanding of employees and guests.
- Knowledge of food safety handling.
- Ability to promote positive relations with all individuals.
- Ability to prioritise, organise and follow up.
- Ability to focus attention on details.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- HACCP level 5 qualification desirable
- Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
The successful candidate will have training and experience in a high standard food prep and service environment.
