Shift Leader weaving department

As shift leader you are responsible for your team of operators in texturing, twisting, beaming and weaving and the daily follow-up of production orders within these departments. You report to the production teamleader weaving.

• You are responsible for the proper operation of all machines and accessories.
• You follow up the cost control of the machines and prepare the necessary production sheets.
• You ensure correct execution of the planning program and that all products are made to the correct specifications.
• You ensure proper handover to the next shift.
• The finished goods must be packed and taken to the next department.
• You ensure that waste is separated and you ensure order and cleanliness of the department.
• You provide support for the ISO standards.
• You ensure that everyone wears PPE and you notify the prevention advisor if unsafe situations arise.
• You participate in the weekly audit event.

• You have at least 10 years of experience in a technical production environment.
• You have strong organizational and leadership skills.
• You are willing to work in shifts (early 5h00-13h15; late 13h15-21h30).
• You are an eager to learn and result oriented person who will work on the shop floor.
• You are safety and quality conscious.
