Responsibilities & Tasks:Responsible for:
• Delivering product packages (equipment and documentation) to project department according to PEM, relevant standards and project specification within the timeframe defined.
• Deliver single equipment to client according to purchase order specification.
• Improvement and standardization of product documentation.
• Follow up vendors to ensure sufficient progress to meet contractual delivery dates.
• Follow up Workshop on assembly work.
• Inspections of equipment deliveries according to quality plan.
• Communicate relevant changes to Product Manager, product group and Project department.
• Work according to QA/HSE procedures, design handbooks & guidelines.
Participates in:
• Further development and continuous improvement of products to ensure technically leading and cost competitive supplier of quality products.
• Support Supply Chain Department with required specifications for purchase and technical issues.
• Evaluation of sub supplier to achieve acceptable quality and quality cost.
• Planning within product group, FAT, inspections and delivery.
• Support Sales department, development department, DLS and Workshop.
• Project meetings when required.
• QIB (Quality Improvement Board) meetings when required.
Authorities:
• Check of drawings and documentations according to QA procedures.
• Inspect, review and release equipment according to QA procedures. Qualifications / Personal Attributes:• MSc or BSc within mechanical or process discipline (relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education)
• Minimum 7-10 years' experience in oil and gas industry
• Proficient in 3 D CAD systems and Microsoft Office
• Good English skills both written and verbal
• Customer focused and service minded
• Good communication and co-operation skills
