• Translate architectural drawings into viable, cost effective and quality design solutions that are compliant with industry standards and meet our customer needs
• Show commitment to value engineering all designs for manufacture and construction, with the ability to improve and enhance software generated designs as required
• Work on multiple projects, build positive relationships and manage competing demands of stakeholders, often within tight deadlines.
• Mentor trainee designers to master your unique and specialized craft

The role is based full time in our design office in Arklow, Co Wicklow, and we offer excellent pay and benefits package for the right candidates.

• An excellent track record and experience in Roof Truss or floor design
• A proven ability to translate architectural drawings into viable, cost effective and quality design solutions
• Commitment to value, with design for manufacture and construction key to your designs
• Attention to detail, with the ability to improve and enhance software generated designs from a value engineering and production efficiency perspective.
• Produce designs compliant with industry standards and technical regulations
• Ability to work on multiple projects and manage competing demands of stakeholders, often within tight deadlines.

• A talent for relationship building and positive engagement

   

• Capability on the Mitek Pamir design suite
• Ability to mentor/train junior designers
• Site measurement

Must be authorised to work in Ireland
