R&D Technologist – Raw Materials
A company located in West Slovenia is looking for a Technologist in R&D (Raw Materials) to join an innovative and fast-growing company.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Approve and qualify raw materials and suppliers (audits, testing, documentation);
- Research, develop, and identify new or alternative sources of raw materials (especially cocoa-based ingredients, vegetable oils, etc.);
- Conduct fieldwork with producers, cooperatives, and partners locally and abroad (within the EU and globally);
- Collaborate on supply chain development and evaluation of sustainable sourcing options;
- Ensure the quality and safety of raw materials (organoleptic, quality, and safety aspects);
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in the internal information system;
- Uphold the highest standards of quality and sustainability;
- Identify risks and seek new opportunities for improvement;
- Support product development processes with a focus on quality and efficiency;
- Carry out other R&D-related tasks as required.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in chemistry, food technology, or another natural science discipline;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the food industry or in raw material development and risk assessment;
- Knowledge of cocoa-based ingredients and vegetable fats is a strong advantage;
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken);
- Familiarity with food legislation and IFS/BRC standards is an asset;
- Proficient computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, MS 365);
- Willingness to travel for business purposes;
- Proactive, detail-oriented, professional, and a great communicator.
