Finn-Power Oy is looking for
A PURCHASER
for an employment contract of indefinite duration. The job description of the purchaser consists mainly of operational procurement tasks. You will be responsible for the purchase, availability and timeliness of materials, price competitive tendering, order and supply chain management, and inventory optimization according to plans and material requirement calculations. You actively participate in keeping in contact with the suppliers in order to maintain good product availability, level of service and quality of delivery and to ensure profitable business.
The purchaser will be part of our easy-going material management team and work closely with strategic purchasing, production, the quality department, and product development on a daily basis.
You have:
• Commercial or technical educational background suitable for the position
• MS Office Skills
• Fluent Finnish and English language skills
• You are self-motivated, self-directed, outgoing and cooperative
• Your work approach is systematic
• Experience in using an ERP system. We have Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system in use.
We expect from you:
• Good interaction skills and ability to work in varied situations in a solution-oriented manner
• Pressure tolerance and flexibility. The job sometimes requires tolerance under pressure and the ability to make quick decisions
• Experience with similar tasks
