Product Engineer
The Product Engineer (Technologist) provides the technical feasibility of customer inquiries and thinks with / advise on the feasibility of the product. When the correct machining processes are not available yet, you determine how the new processes have to be tuned within the internal organization. Here you minding cost and risk. Then you determine how the new processes and structures can be secured. You think along with customers on technological developments and you can make a significant contribution in the design process with the developer to design a product that can be produced and tested economically efficient and effective. In addition to formulating the new machining processes, you are also responsible for improving the existing machining processes, hardware and Design for Test (DfT) engineering. You are and will remain up to date on the latest technological developments in our field and implementing it within our organization.
Tasks and responsibilities:
• Responsible for the development of new systems and products.
• Responsible for determining the feasibility of customer inquiries.
• Responsible for improving current manufacturing processes and inventing new
machining processes.
• Responsible for the implementation of advanced, new technologies within our
organization.
• Providing work instructions and work order on behalf of the production process.
• Conducting consultations with sales for questions regarding manufacturability of
customer demand and technical specifications.
Job requirements:
• A bachelor or master degree in technical direction, preferably Electronics /
Mechatroncia.
• Relevant work experience and experience in analyzing electronic products /
processes.
• Experience in a high tech environment with technical, complex products and
processes.
• Experience with product engineering, schematic design, PCB CAD design, Labview
programming
• An excellent analytical skills.
• You are an enterprising team player, with a great sense of responsibility.
• Fluency in English verbal and written.

Hours a week:
An average of 36 to 40 hours a week.
Accommodation:
All workers are required to pay € 75.00 per week towards the cost of
accommodation. This includes heating, hot water and other accommodation-related costs and is based on a maximum of 2 people to a room and a maximum of 6 people to a house. A private room or apartment is possible, but the cost will increase or even double.
Health insurance:
All workers are required to pay a health insurance premium of € 22.00 per week.
Car:
We will provide a car in the Netherlands and cover the cost of fuel for commuting only.
International travel:
All workers are required to cover the cost of transport from their home country to the Netherlands.
Bank account:
Your weekly salary can only be paid into your own bank account. You must bring an activated European bank card to the Netherlands. You will also need to provide us with all of the relevant bank details, such as BIC, IBAN, etc., so we can pay your salary into your bank account.

Tax registration:
If you do not already have a citizen service number (BSN), we will apply for one for you. This is required by Dutch law. Without a citizen service number we cannot pay your wages. The application process takes 2 to 3 weeks. If we have to apply for a citizen service number for you, you will need to bring some money to the Netherlands (€ 100 or € 150 for example to pay for things such as food and drink.) Once your citizen service number has been issued, we will pay your wages for the last 2 or 3 weeks. After that your wages will be paid at the end of each working week. You are also required to bring a passport or European identity card that is valid for at least 6 months (depending on how long you are planning to work in the Netherlands). In other words, if you bring a passport that is only valid for 2 months, we can only offer you work for 2 months. You will then have to renew your passport before you can work in the Netherlands again (otherwise you will be the Netherlands illegally).
