As part of Kamstrup Technology Communication Group, you will be joining a team with an open culture, high seniority, profound knowledge and empowerment to act. The team designs and maintains communication products for our Smart Metering solutions. 

In the Kamstrup Technology Communication Group, you will be working both in project teams and with individual scheduled tasks with interfaces at all organizational levels. 

A software job with challenges

Global presence in Smart Metering solutions is a corner stone in the Kamstrup strategy and you will play an important part of executing this strategy by creating Linux based applications for our communication solutions and products.

As our products are sold globally, our communication solutions and products require a large portfolio of communication technologies all depending on robust infrastructure components and hence your approach to and thorough knowledge of robust software solutions for products in volume production is essential.

Personality matters

You have at least five years’ experience within the field of C and C++ software in a Linux based environment and have an engineering degree to support it, most likely a B.SC. or M.SC. within software solutions. You work both practically and theoretically with your solutions and find it natural to qualify them in real life situations.

As you master the Linux environment in C and C++, you have no problem writing low-level drivers. However, you still enjoy working with object oriented application layer software structures. Knowledge and working experience with tools and coding languages such as Python, QT, Boost, U-Boot, kernel, Yocto, mingw  git, svn, bash, C# will be considered an asset.
