With reference to our Head of Software Development, you will become a part of our Technology Software division, which consists of competent and committed software developers, testers, architects and project managers, where mutual respect and teamwork go hand in hand. A job with responsibility for development tasks and our new features

In the position as Senior Software Developer, you will have a central role and become one of the frontrunners on new development tasks and in the development of our new features. You will play an important role in our exciting journey where we strive to optimise the energy efficiency at the utilities while delivering the highest quality on the market. You will work closely with our product managers and architects and be responsible for ensuring that features are developed within the framework of the agreed architecture, and that the development team are equipped to implement these new features.

More specifically, your primary responsibilities will be to:

• Lead the development of our new features from design, implementation to testing
• Act as the frontrunner on new development tasks, including break down and estimation
• Follow the tasks from specification to release and ensuring the highest quality in all aspects of the solution

We are working towards an architecture based on microservices. Our primary technologies are C# and .NET.

Personality matters

We are looking for an ambitious and committed Senior Software Developer who is proactive and able to challenge the current status quo in order to ensure the best solutions. It is a requirement that you have:

• A relevant degree as Software Engineer, Computer Scientist or similar
• Minimum 5 years of experience within software development from a similar position
• In-depth knowledge of C# and the .NET platform

Furthermore, it will be considered an advantage if you have knowledge within: SQL, DB design for large amounts of data, Microservices and Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery.

As a person, you are good at communicating and ensuring a common understanding regarding new tasks. You can create an overview, and are fast at identifying the core aspects of a task, which is done through your methodical and analytical approach to your tasks. You are driven by the desire to deliver the best software solutions. Furthermore, you thrive in having a multitude of tasks at hand and being a sparring partner for others on the team.

You are fluent in English both written and oral. Danish will be an asset.
