Your role as Heavy Plant Fitters will involve Electrical & Mechanical maintenance and repair of our Plant Machinery, such as Compactors, Diggers, Front Loaders etc
This is a permanent, Full-time position.
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintenance installation, diagnostics and repair of service plant and machinery, engines and hydraulics – electrical and mechanical
- Fitting and assembly of parts and/or metal subassembly to fine tolerances
- Examination of drawings and specifications to determine appropriate methods and sequence of operations
- To ensure preventative maintenance, repair work, overhauls and installations as appropriate are carried out
- Fault find mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical faults and repair equipment in breakdown situations
- Clear understanding of Diagnostic equipment and procedures
- To anticipate, report or repair any equipment requiring remedial work that may affect the continuity of Plant operations.
- To complete accurate records for all work completed using Service and Inspection schedules.
- To identify and maintain quantity and functionality of tools and equipment
