YOUR FUTURE JOB

As Lean Manufacturing Engineer at Melexis, you will ...

• Lead improvement projects to increase productivity, maximize profitability and improve customer satisfaction; this includes studying, organizing and leading
• Transfer and/or releases of products testing on local manufacturing sites
• Process flow and test time improvements
• Ensure standardization and alignment of product flows and manufacturing methods (eg. retest process alignment on all manufacturing sites)
• Support deployment of local corrective actions across all manufacturing sites
• Analyze, define and manage problem-solving process in manufacturing set-up issue triage and resolution, in order to come to lean production flow
• Support releases of new products in manufacturing
• Support development and process team in reaching error-proof test solutions in manufacturing for final product release
• Act as 5S and lean champion through developing and conducting training to build capabilities on manufacturing processes and lean Six Sigma approach (including 5S method)

YOUR PROFILE

• You have an educational background in microelectronics/electronics with ideally a first work experience in the industry
• You are know about / have experience in problem solving methodologies
• You have knowledge about production flow as well as familiarity with production testing for microelectronics
• You have an interest in continuous improvement principles, and are willing to learn
• You are a pragmatic and strategic thinker, with a hands-on mentality
• You are fluent in English
