DevOps Engineer (Amsterdam, Netherlands)
IT Camp client is a delivery organization that is responsible for the successful delivery of development projects, as well as SLA, has driven operations, maintenance and support. By establishing a team of customer-focused DevOps professionals to client ensure the best service to clients, and enable ongoing improvement of their (mobile) applications.
The (senior) application support engineer is responsible for interfacing with clients and developers regarding technical questions (bugs, changes, etc.), and provides expertise in areas of application performance monitoring, (cloud) system administration, platform automation, secure operations, and more.
What This Job Entails:
- Support the design, build and operation of distributed application systems
- Be the designated point of contact and subject matter expert for one or more strategic clients
- Support Incident, Problem, Change, Release and Deployment Management
- Reporting (service levels, performance, root cause analysis, etc. )
- Documentation
Do you have what it takes?
We’re looking for generalists who like to spend a part of their time in contributing in a specific area (e.g. database performance). You’ll become part of a cool group of ‘peers’ and you’ll have the opportunity to be part of building a team and relatively new department with the Mob organization.
Your skills:
- BSc degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
- At least 4-5 years of experience in Linux and/or Unix administration, experience with Jenkins and GIT is required, some experience with Java, Salt or Ansible, and AWS is preferred
- Experienced with using Agile development methodologies
- Understanding of mobile software and systems
- Understanding of mobile software and systems
