Chef De Partie

Job Overview

We are looking for an ambitious Chef de Parties to join our kitchen team! As a Chef de Partie, you are responsible for supporting the Sous Chef, consistently delivering high-quality food, and handling purchase orders. Ensures the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keeps up to date with the new products, recipes, and preparation techniques.

Main Duties

• Follow the guidance of the sous chef and have input in new ways of presentation or dishes.

• overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards

• Takes care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the superiors to meet the supervisor's standard and quality.

• Follows the instructions and recommendations from the immediate superiors to complete the daily tasks.

• Responsible for supervising and training junior chefs or commis.

• Able to estimate the daily production needs and check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.

• Ensure that food production, preparation, and presentation are always of the highest quality.

• Ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction, quality, and operating and food costs on an ongoing basis.

• Monitoring portion and waste control

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Chef de Partie role, minimum two years 

• Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, tools, and processes

• Ability to multitask.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

• Great time management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Knowledge of best and latest cooking practices

• Culinary school diploma
