As a Bars Manager, you will be an ambassador for the hotel as well as the team you are leading. Leading and proactively managing the day to day operations of our F&B Bars Team in what is an exceptionally diverse role. You will be passionate about delivering world class service to our guests, whilst ensuring standards are maintained and targets are achieved. The role offers the opportunity to drive all aspects of the Bars operation from daily operations.
Responsibilities:

Responsible for overall operation of all Beverage Service.

Responsible for overseeing Food Service ensuring service is of a high
standard.

Monitoring of standards and ensure compliance with SOP’s.

Responsible for staff planning, rostering and timesheets for all employees
in your Department.

Responsible for the control of stock in your Department to include
assisting with stock takes, monitoring & control and working to identify
causes for discrepancies.

Overall Financial Control of Bars – Ensuring Tills are balancing; credit
card reports are correct and all bills are settled.

Development of the Food & Beverage product and establishing policies for
these areas in conjunction with Management.

Responsible for overall implementation of Training Plans for the Bar.
Reviewing Training needs and designing training specific to department.

Implementation of cost saving and waste reduction plan in Department, to
ensure control of financial costs.

Ensure Customer Satisfaction scores are achieved in the department.

Responsible for hygiene, cleanliness and Health & Safety in your
Department.

Communicating forecasted business to all employees in the Bar and
ensuring all employees have all the information required to carry out their
roles effectively and efficiently.

Ensure sales and wage targets are met on a consistent basis.

Communicate guest feedback to staff, positive and negative. Address
issues as required.

Develop an efficient, motivated and dedicated team that delivers the
standards required on a consistent basis.

Implementing Sales & Marketing strategy for your department with the
support of the Sales & Marketing Department.

Developing Social Media strategy for department.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in traditional style pub
- Have a passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service
- Excellent customer service skills
