ARLA - Supply Chain Manager, Strategic Warehouse CoE

As part of our ambitious strategy, Arla is searching for a bright mind with excellent Supply Chain insight, who can define and implement best-in-class Logistic operations from production to store.
Spearhead global warehouse function and projects to align organization towards world-class Supply Chain in our European business unit covering Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Germany and UK.
You will be working in an informal environment out of one of our main locations in Europe – Denmark, Sweden, Germany or UK and report to Head of Strategic Warehouse CoE.
The Job
Together with Head of Strategic warehouse CoE and the team, our new Manager will drive our warehouse strategy for Europe long-term and short-term with focus on securing execution of warehouse strategy - best-in-class service levels, optimal warehouse costs and asset utilisation in a safe working environment.
You will steer and drive global logistics footprint, automation projects and strategic projects. Spearhead development and continuous improvement of warehouse function and drive improvements E2E across planning, production, transport, warehouse and systems to develop and implement a cost-efficient overall Supply Chain strategy.
This includes.
- Ensuring cost-competitiveness through optimising logistics footprint and realising synergies across markets,
- Leading and driving strategic warehouse projects – including automation strategies,
- Secure understanding and implementation of safety and quality standards across markets,
- Deliver innovation that directly influences and delivers productivity and efficiency,
- Intensify equipment utilisation and standardise where it makes sense – including identifying process automation opportunities,
- Closely engage with the country teams that is migrating activities to the CoE to ensure smooth management of each project,
- Coordinate global warehouse KPIs and analysis as well as our continuous improvement agenda,
- Close and responsible relations to our core markets and +70 warehouses across Europe
The strong candidate
You have an excellent toolbox and the personal clout to bring strategy from idea to implementation. In addition to outstanding warehouse operational expertise, you are skilled and experienced in leading complex projects. You probably hold a degree in supply chain management, or you have another relevant academic degree.
You are used to working in global settings and are an excellent communicator who is able to build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders.
