About the job

As our new Finance Specialist, you will be joining 28 ambitious colleagues in Supply Chain Finance - Global Principles & Process Optimization, where we drive optimisation projects across our global supply chain. The team is a small group of pioneers in the field, and you will be part of setting the direction for a key part of Arla’s global automation and digitalisation journey. The path from idea to implementation is short, meaning that you will get to see the results of your work quickly.

Enabler of financial and operational supply chain process optimisation through software robotics and artificial intelligence

With new features constantly added to our backlog of work, the team needs a strong profile who can be an asset in developing a sustainable and future-proof foundation for our many ambitions.

Alongside with two experienced colleagues, you will be involved in both project management and RPA development. Together, you will define and drive projects that optimise financial & non-financial processes through software automation (RPAs, MS Power Automate, VBA Macros, artificial intelligence applications etc.) benefiting colleagues across the Global Supply Chain organisation.  

As the link between business end-users and IT, you design and specify business requirements to the team of developers. Further, you communicate with colleagues across Supply Chain Finance and Supply Chain globally and locally to identify, prioritize projects, and drive change.

Specifically, you:

  • Utilize your technical skills to help build various types of automation tools
  • Conduct Process Design Description (PDD) in collaboration with subject-matter experts and IT specialists
  • Investigate new opportunities for software automation within artificial Intelligence and other new trends
  • Drive stakeholder dialogue in the journey from initial idea to implemented solution and contribute to change management
  • Support User Acceptance Test (UAT) and Hyper care when problems arise for end-users in the implementation phase
  • Drive the project management for software automation and other finance projects
  • Have the possibility to become a citizen developer (RPA or data science) (optional)

Systematic thinker with finance insight and IT experience

To succeed in this role, you need to have experience within financial processes, project-oriented work and have a keen interest in IT systems and automation. With your fiercely analytical mindset, you can break down complex, manual business processes into automatable processes. At the same time, you have strong communication and people skills, which allow you to discuss automation and processes with Finance, IT and Operational colleagues across the world.

Moreover, we imagine that you:

  • Have a degree within Finance, Economics or IT
  • Bring a couple of years relevant experience, and have preferably worked with software automation (RPAs, MS Power Automate, VBA Macros, artificial  intelligence applications etc.) and finance processes
  • Have an interest or experience in IT-driven process optimisation and IT tools/systems
  • Preferably you have experience working with SAP

    Come with strong project management skills including change management
  • Speak and write English fluently
