Overview of role:

Gaeltec Utilities are currently, we are seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee operations within our warehouse, we are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Warehouse Manager to join our team. To deliver on our promise to our client, we rely on exceptionally talented, bright, and committed people. The ideal candidate will be a professional multitasker who can manage and oversee the receiving, handling, storing, loadingand unloading activities within the warehouse, ensuring quality standards are met at every turn.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

As a Warehouse Manager you will be required to frequently travel to several locations where our client materials are stored. You will be provided with a Company vehicle as and when required.

As a Warehouse Manager your Duties & Key Responsibilities will include:

· Strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with all Key Performance Indicator & Company’s policies and vision.

· Management/supervision of the warehouse to operate at peak efficiency by establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.

· Continuous monitoring and evaluation of available data to ensure optimal warehouse layout and stock integrity is being achieved.

· Identify opportunities and implement initiatives for continuous improvements in ways of working, quality, consistency, and effectiveness of process.

· Regularly meet management to review, analyse, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention.

· Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing all the reporting needed weekly and monthly basis.

· Ensure all aspects of warehouse (to include racks and forklifts) maintained to all H&S standards- report any issues to H&S and/or maintenance as appropriate.

· Responsible for managing warehouse personnel to ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, conduct performance reviews, participate in hiring of warehouse employees, maintain harmonious relations between staff.

· Create an inclusive, engaged, and collaborative culture where the role of each team member in the contribution to our Company’s goals is understood.

· Understand the needs of the operations to avoid any stoppage time, liaise and engage with the supervisors to understand the dynamics of the works and what materials are involved in each task, to request the materials to the client/supplier in a timely manner.

· Undertake travel at least 2-3 times per week to locations of warehouse/s where the client materials are stored.

· Additional Ad-hoc Warehouse Manager duties as needed.

Requisitos do cargo

· 2+ years’ Warehouse Management experience or fast-moving supply chain experience.

· Leadership skills and ability manage staff including the abilities to set goals, motivate and manage conflict.

· Demonstrated ability to supervise other employees, understanding of the fundamentals of supervision.

· Highly analytical & comfortable with technology such as using internal data reporting tools to drill down into the data to see what is going on.

· Good project management skills, including strong decision-making, problem-solving and strategic planning abilities, organising resources and establishing priorities.

· Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment while maintaining 100% client compliance and policy procedures.

· Strong understanding of quality requirements and the need for accuracy, with strong attention to detail.

· Knowledge of current legislation relating to Health, Safety and Environment.

· Physical strength, stamina and the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.

· IT literate, specifically in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

· Full Driving Licence and willingness to travel to location of client.

· Manual Handling, and Safe Pass.
