As a Visual Designer you can translate a (mobile) interface, set up by an interaction designer, to an eye-catching and compelling software user interface with an outstanding user experience. You use existing style guides and design elements when needed. You also bridge the gap between Interaction Design and Front-End Development.
Key tasks and responsibilities:

Translate concepts and interaction designs to a beautiful graphical user interface;

Work closely together with strategists, interaction designers and front-end developers in an international setting;

Design complete interfaces as well as interface elements in details.

Knowledge and skills

Proven experience in creating user interfaces for websites and/or web applications;

Able to work within a multidisciplinary team; and within a predefined style;

Develop graphic ideas, with usability always at the forefront of your mind;

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills;

You are accurate, creative and committed to excellence;

You can team up with both interaction design and front end development;

You have a natural tendency to stay up to date;

You speak and write fluent English.
Education
Degree in graphic design, user experience, multimedia or related field.
Experience
- 2 years+ experience within GUI / UI Design- Experience across a variety of devices: desktop, smartphone, tablet;
- Full proficiency with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and / or Fireworks;
- Experience with graphical design for mobile devices;
- Quality driven and pixel-perfect.

You have technical knowledge, are innovative and have an eye for visual design. You will get involved in brainstorming and will work with other types of designers to ensure our products are the best, and most innovative they can be.
