The work includes strawberry field maintenance and picking strawberries. There is job for two worker from about 15. of May to early September. Ending time will be more accurate later and it can be discussed with the workers. We will hire 6-8 worker for picking season. Season starts in late Juny or in first half of July. The dates will be more precise during the growing season and we inform employees. Picking season will be about 2-4 week. We have a possibility for housing near of our farm in a separate apartment. The apartment has a kitchen, a bathroom, and two bedrooms. A sauna is also available, as well as shower, and a grill hut. Residence is in shared rooms with other workers. Nearby, is also a lake where it is possible to go swimming. The cost of housing is 140€/month (we will charge only those days when worker live in there) Workers will be provided with a bicycle to move in the farm, but as well in free time outside of working hours. It is about 7 KM from the apartment to the central of Pihtipudas, where the nearest food market is. We offer transportation to the central at least 1-2 times a week. The distance from the farm to city of Jyväskylä is about 145 KM, and to Oulu 195 KM. There are good bus connections to these places. (the farm is right by road E75) there are also horses on our farm, and the little village is a nice place to spend some freetime. Communication is possible in English or Finnish. Workers have to be over 15 years old. Wage depends age and experience of workers, but it is from collective agreement. When you send the job application, announce would you like to work full summer, or only in the picking season.
