Medical Devices – Agile – Copenhagen based



Do you want to be a part of taking an award-winning product to the next technology stage? Do you want to work on a product that makes the difference between life and death to many acute-care patients? In this position, you will work closely together with colleagues inside the software team and with colleagues in other disciplines (chemistry, mechanics and electronics) on making the next technology stage happen.





The job



You will be part of a team of nine based in Brønshøj (near Copenhagen, Denmark), working together with our software team in India. The team in Denmark is primarily responsible for all Software Requirement Management, overall architecture and design for the software. This involves software controlling all electronics and mechanical parts in the analyzer, GUIs, communication with hospital IT systems (HIS/LIS). Team working out of India is responsible for independent features largely on Data Management System and full software verification.



Your responsibilities include driving definition of our future design on Data Management System and maintenance of existing system. This will involve working in close cooperation with the rest of the software team in Copenhagen, product marketing, offshore team and other Radiometer product lines. You should be obsessive about the quality of code and underlying design.

Qualifications

•Engineer, M.Sc. or other relevant technical background with minimum 3-year experience.

•Hands-on experience with .NET technology stack for multi-threaded desktop application development (WPF, XAML, C#) in order to develop future product.

•Understanding of VB6, VC++, COM in order to understand existing product.

•Experience with Visual Studio, Expression Blend, Git, profilers and other standard software development tools.

•Familiarity with design patterns and strong analysis and problem solving skills.

•Focused on designing maintainable, robust, and testable solutions through a structured and documented development process.

•Experience with agile development methods - Scrum or Kanban.

•Fluent English – written and spoken. Danish would be an asset.

•Experience with Medical Software development is a plus.

•Experience with communication protocols (HL7, POCT1-A etc.) is a plus.

•Experience of working on a multisite environment is a plus.
