JOB DESCRIPTION
This project will prepare product derivatives and supporting development kits to enable customer applications in the hearables domain. Project goals:
- New product derivative: SW (ROM) upgrade the current Bluetooth Smart product to support the latest Bluetooth Smart standard.
- Development of Application Development Kits (ADKs) to support fast development & productizing of hearable products based on NFMI and BLE Smart chipsets. (ADK consists of SW dev kits for the ICs, User documentation, Application notes, example applications that showcase how to bring the system together (i.e. application code on ICs and mobile phone platform).
- Link-layer development - from proof of concept up to product level.
- Integration & validation of link-layer with Bluetooth Smart Host stack.
- BLE profile development (Hearables).
- Middleware subsystem code.
- Embedded application develop development using Bluetooth Smart Host stack.
- Audio streaming protocol development, testing together with Android application.
- SDK user documentation.
PROFILE
- You have an engineering degree (electromechanical or electronic) or equivalent by experience.
- (Low-level) C-programming on embedded system (ARM Cortex M0)
- Bluetooth Low Energy (Smart) experience – link layer / Bluetooth (Smart) host stack.
- System/SW development for low power architectures.
- You have experience in Audio streaming architectures and real time systems.
- Bluetooth Low Enegry, IC development.
- You are fluent in English.
- You are a perseverant and proactive worker with a goal-oriented and analytical mindset.
