FREYR has commenced building the first of its planned factories in Mo i Rana, Norway and announced potential development of industrial scale battery cell production in the United States.
We are seeking a dynamic Process Technology Engineer to join our team at the Customer Qualification Plant (CQP) in Mo i Rana, Norway. The CQP in Freyr is the heart of research and development of semi-soild battery technology. The factory holds one full battery production line dedicated for testing new materials and optimizing the current process. The work done here will set the foundation for succeeding in expanding the production up to a Giga scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in cross-functional teams
- Actively contribute to the improvement of equipment, process, and product
- Participate in data collection, analyze process data like process capability and conduct root cause analysis
- Plan and conduct experiments like DOEs to optimize process parameters
- Plan and execute the testing of new materials in the process lines
- Share knowledge and transfer competence across teams
Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in mechanical, material, process, or chemical engineering
- Minimum 2 year of engineering work experience, preferably in production industries
- Desired with knowledge of root cause analysis, process capability studies, gauge r&r, Design of Experiments, etc.
