Junior Linux System Engineer (m/f)

Your responsibilities Take care of the installation, configuration and maintenance of a quickly growing server farm and cloud environment. Supervise and check the status of computing resources, make backups. Monitor and analyze the progress of the work and the operation of systems, networks, tools and devices. Identify, diagnose the nature and origin of incidents, and implement corrective measures. Trigger or schedule maintenance operations and monitor compliance of the interventions. Install and integrate hardware (station, network equipment, devices, ...) in the production environment and configure logical and physical resources. Perform 24x7 on-call duties on a rotation. Your profile Degree in an IT related discipline or ICT professional qualification * Experience or working knowledge in Linux/Unix System Administration, Configuration, Virtualization Technology (Proxmox, VMware), Network topology; * Working knowledge of HTTPS services/proxies, such as Apache / Nginx or HAProxy; * Fluent in written and spoken English; * Good team skills and show ability to work on their own initiative; * Highly organized and self-motivated, possess strong interpersonal skills as well as strong analytic and communication skills; * B driving license (for on-call duties interventions). * Additional nice-to-have skills (please check our job offer)
