JAVA Developer

Within H. Essers, we develop our own IT-systems to facilitate and support our logistic activities.

Currently, we are looking for a JAVA developer to complement our IT-department and to ensure the optimal flow of the IT processes.

As a medior JAVA developer, you are responsible for mapping the current IT-landscape and giving technical advice in order to help shaping the current IT processes.

You actively help developing new applications within transport, logistics and the IT-department.

In order to develop these new applications, you work together with an enthusiastic project team.

Your other tasks include helping and supporting colleague-developers and ensuring a proper quality of all the processes and activities.

During the job, you report to the Team Manager Development.

PROFILE:

You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in JAVA projects within a business environment

You are an expert within your own discipline, but you can also apply other technologies if this would be required for the job. You are creative and are able to suggest new ideas.

You are someone who likes to learn something new and wants to share this new knowledge with others

You are strong in communication and take initiative whenever this is required.

You are eager to learn.

You have a thorough knowledge of JAVA development, existent databases and open source development tools
