The Solution Architect (for Finance) is accountable for architecture designs within the ICT organization of ASML. You will be end responsible for design decisions in the SAP domain SAP BPC.
Job Description
- Acts as a central contact and subject matter expert within the ICT organization for financial related IT activities. You will be main responsible for all IT design decisions related to SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation). SAP BPC is currently used by ASML for the processes Financial Planning & Budgeting, Consolidation, Sales & Cash planning.
- Executes processes independently and manages operational improvements within own area of expertise
- Is recognized as an IT expert in communication with the business
- Uses knowledge of developments in the own area of expertise to improve IT processes
- Supports the development of IT instruments/ methodologies/ solutions
- Presents and discusses IT management information with business
- Actively uses knowledge of developments (including benchmarks) outside ASML in own area of expertise to improve policies
- Is able to lead small internal project teams
- Presents and defends IT policies and procedures to the business
- Has access to and maintains the internal IT knowledge network
- Develops and contributes to the architectural roadmap
- Ensures that IT deliverables are in line with the architectural roadmap
- Performs feasibility studies
- Gives third line support. SAP BPC is currently in service by 3rd Party Service provider. 3rd Party Service provider is responsible for the execution of changes on the SAP BPC infrastructure. You will guide the ASML 3rd party from a design point of view.
- ASML intends to implement a new greenfield SAP environment. You will get the opportunity to work on the latest SAP toolset (e.g. HANA, BPC Unified Data Model).
Context of the position
The Business Process Analyst is part of the Finance IT solution team within the Competence Center Corporate Support. You work in close cooperation with experts in the SAP BW and SAP ECC/FICO.
He/she reports to the IT Solution Manager and has internal interfaces with finance (key) users and stakeholders, Business Information Analysts of other functional areas.
Requirements & Skills
Education
- Bachelor with 10+ years' experience. Master with 8-10 years' experience
- Fluent in Dutch and English language.
Experience
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Finance with strong focus on Planning & Budgeting and consolidation processes
- Detailed, hands-on knowledge of SAP BPC version 7.5 onwards is must (including scripting experience). Preferably SAP Certified.
- Knowledge on SAP BPC version 10 is a pre.
- Knowledge on BPC Unified Data model (HANA) is a pre.
- You should be able to independently design and customize IT solutions into ASML SAP BPC application.
- Experienced with working in project teams. You are a key team player, with a proven track record of working in large project teams implementing Finance IT solutions.
- Experienced in translation of information requirements into technical requirements.
- Experienced in working for global oriented company
