HR Consultant

Nokia HR Central Europe provides HR services and consultancy in various HR functional areas such as payroll, benefits and administration, mobility, compliance, employee relations and occupational health and safety. Our aim is to provide professional end-to-end support to our customers in any operative HR topic during the employees Nokia Journey. As HR consultant in HR Central Europe (located in Espoo, Finland) you will provide HR Consultancy regarding Nokia People processes (including performance management, compensation & benefits, employee relations, global mobility etc.), policies, country related employee relations practices and legal requirements. In your role you will also provide consultancy to employees and managers on complex wellbeing and performance related topics. You will be the main contact point and work closely with the employees and managers to resolve issues and consult mainly through phone/email/chat but also face to face. In addition as a subject matter expert on HR topics you will be providing trainings and actively sharing information regarding people practices and policies to HR colleagues, managers and employees. You will deliver core HR services through everyday case management and by participating on projects related to people processes, development and country specific HR service development. You will have an opportunity to learn how to develop the operational HR service delivery to meet the demands of a transforming business through ongoing change projects. You like to work in a multifunctional environment and variety of tasks and are not afraid to take initiative also in the administrative tasks when needed. You will provide input in case avoidance and end-to-end service development by utilizing statistics of own expertise area and cooperating with the relevant HR network. You are strong in networking with internal and external stakeholders ensuring smooth cooperation within the employee relations and wellbeing related topics. You may also have the opportunity to learn project management and leadership skills through working as a team leader for a subject matter working group or project team. Qualifications: - People centric mindset and strong HR operational experience & knowledge - Typically 4-5 years' experience in HR generalist role is required - Experience in consultancy, coaching and advising - Extensive experience in sensitive employee relations and/or wellbeing related topics - Understanding of HR People practices & processes and strong customer service attitude - Proven track record of being able to work both independently and as a team member - Ready to take on the initiatives with can do attitude and ability to deal with ambiguity - Strong prioritization and time management skills. Clear in communication both verbally and in writing - Understanding of HR processes related tool HR SAP R/3 - Fluent in written and spoken English. Mastering of some European languages as working language is preferred.
