Head of IT (m/f/d)

You will be the link between the parent company and the location and will be responsible for implementing the specifications yourself.

• Lead the local IT organization to ensure compliance with operational objectives
• Work with the entire IT team to ensure IT processes and projects adequately support business objectives.
• Coordinate with global cybersecurity teams to implement cybersecurity controls, support cybersecurity awareness, and monitor cybersecurity risks.
• Assist with regulatory compliance audits.
• Work with other departments and global IT teams, including OT teams, to identify and resolve IT issues and implement IT solutions that meet business needs.
• Participate in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the company's IT systems.
• Keep up-to-date with new technologies and assess the potential impact on the company's IT infrastructure.
• Work with the global IT matrix organization to align technology strategies and ensure the effective delivery of IT services.
• Compliance with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) best practices when providing IT services.

• Experience in leading and managing a group of IT professionals with a proven track record of delivering high quality services and solutions to a wide range of business stakeholders.
• Understanding of human resource management procedures to support the personal and professional development of an IT team.
• Commitment to the health and wellbeing of the IT team in line with general and organizational best practices.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field is an advantage but not required if the individual has relevant experience.
• 8+ years of experience leading and managing teams or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with OT teams is an advantage.
• Experience in project management on both large capital projects and managing many smaller projects simultaneously is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and best practices for IT service delivery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in German and English is an advantage.
