As a Landscape Development Foreperson for Redlough Landscapes you will be part of a small team carrying out urban landscaping development works on commercial & public authority sites.
Many of our sites will include groundsworks, drainage, concrete & paving work as well as soft landscaping - planting trees & hedging, erecting fences and other similar tasks
Role: Permanent Role
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7am-4pm.
Location: Dublin
Title: Hard Landscape Site Foreman / Forewoman
Salary: Is negotiable and will be based on experience.
Activities:
- Development of Landscapes on both commercial and residential sites
- Assess work activities to be carried out with Site Manager, plan the resources required in conjunction with the site program to ensure that deadlines are met and related works are carried out in the correct sequence and to correct standard
- Manage the site in the absence of the Site Manager
- Oversee Groundworks, paving, concrete paving, brickwork, Resin, and provide training and technical advice to the site team .
- Oversee Safe operations of Machinery & Plant, including power/hand tools
- Fencing/Decking
- Site preparation including safety preparation and Traffic Management Plans as required.
- Planting of trees, shrubs, flower beds etc
- Winter planting and aftercare on maintaining completed projects
- To be compliant with Health and Safety
Opportunities
· We are consistently looking to upskill our staff by organising training courses and equipment courses for a number of tickets and certs for this industry
Requirements
- Safe Pass & Manual Handling must be in date for at least 3 months
- Mini Digger ticket is advantageous, as is a trailer licence
- Full clean driving licence to bring tools & equipment to site
- Ability to understand maps & drawings
- Basic construction knowledge - able to mix concrete, use levels etc
- Good communication skills for co-workers and customers
Previous Construction or Landscaping Experience
CSCS Tickets such as Mini Digger
need a full clean EU Driving Licence
