GeoSea is DEME’s specialised company focusing on rock socketing, drilling and installation services for jetty foundations and mooring systems, the installation of offshore structures, such as small platforms and outfalls, offshore wind farms and geotechnical investigations at large depths. Because of the wide variety of specialties, we are looking for motivated candidates to reinforce our team.
As a Project Manager Fabrication you will look after the financial, fiscal and administrative aspects of the subcontract that will be in place between GPS Lux and the selected steel suppliers for GeoSea EPCI projects.
He/she will work together with a team of experts in Luxembourg under the leadership of the Procurement and Fabrication Manager and this on consult with the GeoSea Project Manager.
This task involves a.o.:
- Acting as authorized GPS Lux representative towards the selected steel-subcontractor for: contractual management (processing of VOs/claims, etc.), financial management(processing of progress-statements, interim payment applications and payments, bonds and guarantees, etc.), fiscal management (VAT-declarations, certificates, tax-audits, etc.) and administrative management of the steel-subcontract package.
- Document control (Aconex) of the steel-subcontract package upwards (GPS Lux/GeoSea NV) and downwards (GPS Lux/steel-subcontractor).
As a Project Manager Fabrication you...
- You have a BSC or MSC Engineer Electro mechanics or equivalent through experience
- Having an IWE-IWT certification is an asset
- Fabrication management experience is an asset
- You are an experienced welding and site supervisior
- You have experience with NDT
- You have experience knowlegde and experience of steel processes (planning, procurement, construction)
- You are a teamplayer/good communicator
- You will be living in Luxembourg
