The Impact You'll Make

Step into a laboratory where precision meets innovation.

At the Danfoss Technology Centre in Nordborg, we play a key role in ensuring the quality and innovation behind Danfoss products worldwide. Through expert testing and material analysis, we help the engineers and production teams make data-driven decisions that improve performance, reliability, and quality. We are service providers for the entire global Danfoss organization.

Your work will empower colleagues across the organization to solve complex issues, qualify new materials, and optimize production processes. You’ll see the direct impact of your results in every solution we deliver to customers.

As one of our dedicated colleagues is soon to retire, we are looking for a new laboratory technician for the metallographic laboratory in the Danfoss Technology Centre.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Your primary work area will be in the metallographic laboratory, where you will perform all processes necessary for a complete metallographic examination, such as embedding and preparation, hardness measurement, grain size determination, microscopy and more.
  • Besides customer tasks, you will also actively participate in and take responsibility of internal operational tasks, continuous improvement, quality assurance, and safety related topics.
  • Lead customer assignments – from initial dialogue and planning to final analysis and reporting – ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Sometimes fully independently – and sometimes in close collaboration and coordination with a team of highly skilled and experienced colleagues.

What We're Looking For

  • A laboratory technician with experience from a laboratory environment – ideally with knowledge of metallography, or a curiosity and willingness to learn.
  • Solid IT skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and systems.
  • Technical ingenuity in operating, maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment.
  • To succeed in this role, you’ll need to balance a precise, structured, and disciplined work method with the creativity required to tackle new and complex problems.

What You'll Get from Us

  • We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
  • You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being matters to us.
  • We strive to create an inclusive work environment where people of all backgrounds are respected and valued for who they are.
  • You’ll receive benefits like annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, personal insurance, and more. These vary by country and contract, but they’re worth asking about—we think they’re great.
