Procurement Responsibilities

  • Familiarize yourself with the list of technical submittals. This is all the equipment approved for your site
  • Dealing directly with internal procurement on a regular basis
  • Co ordinating procurement of materials & plant in line with the most up to date programme issued by contractor taking into account lead times and storage requirements.
  • Ensuring all documentation for deliveries is correctly uploaded on to procore, whether this is delegated by you to your team underneath.
  • Keep a thorough check on all the site materials and equipment.
  • Ensure tool hire is done efficiently. Not needed on site then off hire until such times. 
  • Ensure that all return of materials is captured and coordinated to ensure credit is received without dispute.

Programming & Sequencing of Works

  • Ensuring you are working of the most up to date programme issued by the main contractor
  • Attending and leading the Benchmark meetings for each stage of the projects construction. Capturing all minutes from these meeting and generating the report for each.
  • Requesting and collaborating all specialist contractor certification to enter site and for works completed
  • Supervising and delegating to working foreman or foremen ensuring they are carrying out works in accordance with Benchmark agreements
  • Communicate with your site  team ensuring they are adequately informed of site targets and standards to be met.
  • Show good leadership skills and be able to educate your understudies to the best of your ability. Try to empower your team to carry out tasks to the highest standards.
  • Delegating roles and tasks to your team
  • Ensure Daily site diaries are maintained weekly and uploaded to procore
  • Identifying in advance when either direct or specialist sub contractors are required to meet the programme by liaising with head office
  • Progress reports to be filled out weekly and forecasts for the week ahead, progress reports will now all be aligned with the current programme.
  • Ensure we have a presence at the white board meeting collecting and distributing information

Commercial responsibilities

  • Be completely aware of what is in your scope of works, be familiar with drawings and specifications required.
  • Liaise directly with our internal commercial team ensuring any works outside scope are captured including all variations via Procore and obtain counter signature from main contractor.
  • Pre-empt any potential counter charges and alert commercial team so allowances can be made
  • Ensure all timework sheets are documented correctly and uploaded to procore.
  • Ensuring when working alongside commercial teams that budget forecasts are accurate and maintained monthly. Don’t leave the meeting if you don’t have a full understanding. This needs to be accurate
  • Approving works completed by subbies allowing payments to be made.
  • Alert the Commercial team to delays or anomalies in the programme. 
  • Note non production time on the site Via a Procore RFI to the Commercial team for records.
  • Build a case for the commercial team of upheavals we have soaked up and lodge on procore as RFI for record

     

Handover Responsibilities

  • Familiarise yourself with the full BCAR handover folder requirements and what certs are required.
  • Organising with the relevant parties and ensuring commissioning takes place as per specification and in line with programme in the right timeframe
  • Take ownership and liaising with offices admin team to ensure handover documentation is as per clients requirements.
  • Ensure testing is carried out and logged as we go and not captured retrospectively. Procore will be there to aid all testing and commissioning. 
  • Take full responsibility for uploading certification in line with point above.
  • Allow time to collaborate on the as installed drawings to ensure this is complete quickly and accurately. This should be carried out as we go and not left to project handover stage where it can be helped. 

Quality Responsibilities

  • Identify any training in conjunction with Quality team that may be required for new products or installations that are new to you.
  • As point above ensuring everyone who is commissioning systems have the correct knowledge or training behind them.
  • Ensure all testing procedures are adhered to and documented correctly and uploaded to procore.
  • Liaise with QA team ensuring all standards and benchmarks have been set and are therefore adhered to as the installation continues.
  • Ensure all client closure report items are completed prior to offering up. (Ceiling and walls)
  • Ensure that all client Snag lists are completed and returned in a timely manner
  • Ensure that all Snag lists from client are recorded and collaborated to see if a trend is within.
  • Repeat poor workmanship should be warned and then removed from site. 
  • Record all damages to work on procore to aid building a case for commercial team.
  • Ensure that the project photo albums on procore are updated regularly to ensure off site team can monitor progress.

 

Health and safety

  • Make sure that all operative have passed through the MGME induction process
  • Ensure that all SAP’s are filled out daily and training to do so has been given to anyone that needs.
  • Enforce the active PPE rules on your respective project. Whether it 5 point PPE or 4 Point
  • Ensure the correct equipment is highlighted to perspective subbies and that it is there responsibility to provide i.e. ladders, lock box
  • Ensure that working at heights and MEWP training has been achieved were necessary
  • Ensure all the correct permits are being use and if hot works is in action that an extinguisher and blanket is made available. 
  • Carry out regular toolbox talks with key items to be noted. Programme, Material usage, Quality.
Requisitos do cargo
  • 3-5+ years experience working in a similar role. 
  • Experience in the management of construction from a HSEQS perspective
  • Good understanding of the project logistics and programme to completion
  • Good working knowledge of the project specification
  • Experience managing a team of operatives
  • Valid CSR/Safe Pass 
  • Manual Handling
  • Site Management Toolbox Training.
