CONTINIA - Instructional Designer
Continia is looking for you – a highly skilled Instructional Designer passionate about using video and e-learning to build bridges between subject matter experts and end-users. If you are experienced in creating and implementing effective learning solutions, and you have the ability to make people want to learn more, this job is for you.
About your role
As an Instructional Designer in the Docs & Learn team, you'll work with internal stakeholders to design and develop engaging, interactive, and effective training materials, such as instructional videos, e-learning courses, certification exams, and in-app instructional content for our extensions for Business Central.
We’re continuously working to improve our learning paths and certifications to ensure users get the best possible learning experience, and you’ll play a key role in shaping both the content and strategy behind these efforts.
Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following tasks:
- Design and implement effective and engaging e-learning courses.
- Collaborate with solution specialists to analyze learning needs, clarify functionality, and develop learning objectives.
- Create and produce training videos from storyboard to embed code, as well as design visual representations of complex concepts.
- Write clear and consistent content.
- Contribute to the development of the Continia learning universe and use analytic insights to find opportunities to increase effectiveness.
- Maintain and update existing training content to ensure its accuracy and relevance.
- Keep up to date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in instructional design and e-learning.

We imagine you have the following qualifications and characteristics:
- 3+ years of experience with instructional design or technical writing, preferably from a software or technology company.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficient in creating instructional video content using screen recordings, graphics, and animations to clearly demonstrate software functionality and processes.
- Creative and driven with a passion for designing and developing e-learning courses and other digital learning resources.
- Collaborative and team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or other financial systems is an added bonus, but not required.
