The Växjö Medical Clinic is one of the largest clinics in the Kronoberg Region with more than 370 employees. Here we offer outpatient and inpatient specialised care in internal medicine, other internal medicine specialties (excluding geriatrics) and neurology and rheumatology. Tasks
Consultant/specialist in haematology or renal medicine, we are looking for a candidate who wants to be involved in developing the medical clinic and who will want to contribute with know-how and commitment.
- Hematology services consist of outpatient hematology in the hematology clinic, medical outpatient care and inpatient care, which is conducted together with the oncology clinic. As a haematology specialist, you may be placed in the clinic, in outpatient or inpatient care. You may also work in the accidents and emergencies department.
- The renal section consists of a renal clinic, a dialysis unit with about 40 patients in HD/HDF, a PD clinic with about 15 patients and an inpatient department with 8-9 beds dedicated to renal medicine. In the section we monitor about 100 kidney transplant patients. We have a well-established collaboration with the transplant unit SUS/Malmö and a local collaboration with IVA, infection, vascular surgery and the rest of the medical clinic.
As a consultant/specialist in the medical clinic, we expect you to contribute to the clinic's emergency activities and on-call tasks.
Qualifications
• You are a specialist in haematology and preferably with specialist competence in internal medicine.
• You are a specialist in renal medicine and preferably with specialist competence in internal medicine.
Previous experience from being an attending physician on call in an internal medicine clinic is an advantage.
Swedish language education
Candidates who are offered and accept employment will receive paid language tuition in preparation for relocation to Sweden.
