Job Overview
A Bellman is mainly responsible for unloading luggage at curbside upon a guest’s arrival as well as delivering the luggage to the guestroom after check-in, pick up luggage from the guest room for the check-out, escort the guests to the rooms and provide information for the Hotel. Always greet guests with a smile and assist with local information as well as calling for a taxi.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Greeting all guests in the lobby in a warm and professional manner makes them feel welcome and anticipate their needs before they arise.
- Prepare/refill and offer welcome drinks.
- Recognizing all returning and VIP guests and welcome them back.
- Escorting all guests checking in to their accommodations following hotel procedure. Inform them about all hotel and guest room features, hotel facilities, and emergency procedures.
- Deliver and pick up the luggage for arrivals and departures.
- Vallet service.
- Keep the lounges of the reception area clean and tidy.
- Organize the luggage room and control access to it.
- Create, manage, and keep records of the Station with the product that guests require, or the rooms need (adaptors, chargers, speakers, collaterals etc.)
- Responsible for the club cars (clean and tidy, functional)
- Follow the Brand/company standards.
- Report to the Front Office any damage or problem that comes under his attendance in the property or in the rooms.
