The Ideal Candidate:
Reporting to the Bar Manager, the ideal candidate will oversee the running of key functions in the bar, as well as supporting Departmental Employees in their roles. This is a hands-on role and requires an excellent level of organisational skills and customer service skills.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality management professional to further their career.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with the management of the budget and cost effectiveness of the Bar department ensuring staff levels are met by forecasting
- Create a fun and engaging environment and positive culture within the hotel
- Support the Senior Management Team in the strategic running of the hotel
- Proactively work on building customer relationships and improving customer feedback.
- Hiring of new staff for both the restaurant and bar
- Customer satisfaction is being met at all times
- Adhere to food and safety regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Excellent leadership skills - motivating and engaging the team with an ability to delegate tasks
- Experience in recruiting and developing employees
- High standards and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Customer experience focused individual
