Working in a truly global set-up, Arla's insurance department is responsible for establishing global insurance solutions and best practices. Currently, we handle global master policies and connected local policies for more than 100 operating facilities worldwide.
Establishing global insurance solutions
Reporting directly to the Senior Treasury Director, it is your responsibility to establish global insurance solutions, working with brokers, insurance companies and key stakeholders within Arla. You will enjoy a very independent role in the alignment of Arla's insurance business to the overall global business strategy. Your responsibilities include:
- Structuring Arla's insurance business
- Ensuring cost and quality in the insurance programme
- Purchasing insurance and negotiating conditions
- Coordinating property risk prevention and business management programmes together with Arla QEHS
In relation to the future of Arla's insurance business, you provide expertise and recommendations to Arla's organisation in relation to security, recall of products, workmen's compensation and product liability. Additionally, you are responsible for the activities of Arla Foods Captive, a fully owned reinsurance subsidiary.
Experienced and result-oriented insurance capacity
You hold a Master, an MBA or similar and can present solid results in successfully driving projects and achieving your goals in your current and previous positions. You have a strong general insurance background or specialist knowledge within a specific insurance area.
You are energetic and understand how to motivate and inspire others to dedicate themselves to the organisation's insurance agenda. Your inherent desire to deliver results is backed by your strong collaboration skills and ability to manage internal and external stakeholders and maintain relations, ensuring success in all your endeavours.
