Have you ever wondered about what it would be like to work in Portugal?
Looking for your place in the sun?
Currently one of the most dynamic economies in Southern Europe, Portugal and its employers are facing severe shortages of professionals, namely within Customer Service, IT, Engineering and Technical occupations. It also has important seasonal recruiting needs within Tourism and Agriculture.
On November 27th, you will have the chance of making contact with a few of these employers and gaining some more insight on how to look and apply for a job as well as live and work in Portugal. If applying for jobs, you may as well be invited for one or more online interviews on the day.
"Work in Portugal!" will take place exclusively online, on a computer or mobile device right next to you.

Work in Portugal! is organized by IEFP / EURES Portugal, with the support of the European Commission, the High Commission for Migration, AICEP Portugal Global and the Engineers’ Order.
ABOUT PORTUGAL
Portugal is located in South Europe and is a Republic, subdivided into autonomous regions (Azores and Madeira archipelagos) and 5 continental regions.
On the 2nd trimester 2018, Portugal had a population of 10.2 million and an active population of more than 5.2 million. The activity rate was 50.9% - 59% if you consider the age group >15;
On the 2nd trimester 2018 the national unemployment rate was 6.7%.
Employers in Portugal are looking for new talent in many different areas: IT (Programming & Data Analysis), Customer Service, Shared Service Centres / BPO (Business Process Outsourcing), Medical Insurance, Digital Marketing, Telecom (Engineering Services), Industry (Pharmaceuticals, Fiber Optics, Metallic Constructions, Food), Hospitality and Agriculture.
Requested language skills:
English (mandatory), French, Spanish, Italian, German, Dutch, Danish, Finnish, Slovenian, Czech; but also… Russian, Mandarin, Turkish, Arabic; Portuguese is always a plus
