We’re looking for an enthusiastic Wilderness Guide who speaks German and English to join our adventure team at Valkea Lodge, part of the Explore the North family.
Your Role
• Lead wilderness expeditions, safaris, and nature tours.
• Provide live translation and interpretation (English <-> German).
• Share insights about Arctic nature, wildlife, and culture.
• Ensure guest safety and create unforgettable experiences.
• Assist with equipment and logistics as needed.

Located near the Swedish border, Valkea offers cozy accommodation, Nordic cuisine, and authentic Arctic adventures - from husky safaris to northern lights tours. Explore the North operates eight lodges across Finnish and Swedish Lapland, all dedicated to creating meaningful experiences.
We’re Looking For
• Experience as a guide or in hospitality (preferred).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Flexible and able to work evenings/weekends.
• Alcohol serving certificate is a plus
