About the Job



As a Team Lead in the Production Department, you will be leading one or more cross-disciplinary teams on a daily basis. Your main goal is to create a framework in which the team members thrive and deliver quality products to the kids or internal tools to the other developers or departments. You make sure that the production processes are followed and improved. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer you will work together with the other Leads in creating a world class Production Department. You are expected to constantly seek new knowledge and best practices about production processes in particular and leadership in general and implement it in your daily work.



Overall responsibilities:

•Lead one or more cross-discipline teams of up to 12 people

•Implementation of production processes within the daily work on the team

•Work with Chief Product Officer and other Leads to improve these processes

•Function as Scrum Master on a daily basis and coordinate across teams with the other Scrum Masters

•Create a framework and team spirit that is motivational for all team members

•Planning and executing the full product life cycle for the features allocated to the team

•Create short-term and long-term plans together with the Product Owner and team using Agile and Scrum methodologies

•Participate in road map greenlight meetings with studio management

•Following up on the functionality and performance of features released by the team

•Support Product Owner and team in making sure that plans and achievements are presented to entire company on a regular basis



About You



You are an expert in Agile and have knowledge of related production methodologies such as Scrum, Extreme Programming as well as Kanban. You have previous experience with team management in a performance-driven company within the IT or games industry. Preferably, you hold an academic degree or have received formal leadership training. The ideal candidate has game development experience or similar experience with creative software projects.

You are concise in your communication and adjusts it to whom you are communicating.

As a leader, your style is empathic and warm and you use your emotional intelligence to make sure that your team members become the best possible versions of themselves.



A passion for making kids games is mandatory and experience within a related field is a plus.
