For the Technology Department in Brande we are looking for an experienced network engineer / architect. Technology is Siemens Wind Power’s development department – responsible for R&D of the entire wind turbine and all sub-components, including the SCADA system. We are looking for a new colleague for the team responsible for development and production of the hardware and IT platform on which our SCADA system lives.
What are my responsibilities?
You will become a part of a group where things are happening fast and it is therefore mandatory that you are able to handle several tasks and project at once without losing focus. Your primary areas of responsibility will include: · Ownership of the Field of Development Technology Roadmap · Ownership of the SCADA Network Design Manual · Partnership management with Cisco Systems & Belden · Responsible for quality control in both technology projects and R&D Projects · Participating in defining SCADA Security Policy · Technology project owner and Project Manager for smaller projects · Project Participant in major turbine development projects as SCADA specialist · Divisional representative at Siemens Networks and Communication Community You will be participating in different project and can expect a few days of travelling per.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
· Preferably you have Bachelor or Master’s degree within computer science combined with 4 – 5 years of experience within industrial networking · You have 3+ years of experience as a senior developer, technical lead, and/or IT/network project manager · You have a project management certification – IPMA PMP, Prince2 or similar · You have exhaustive knowledge and experience with Cisco products such as IOS-routers, Cisco ASA and Cisco Catalyst · You have experience with design, deployment and management of large wireless networks · You have CCNP and preferably CISSP or CCIE certification · IT security must be a high priority for you and knowledge about Cisco’s security products: Cisco Prime, ACS and APIC-EM will be advantage · General understanding of programming and system integration methods are required · You have general knowledge about ISO 27001/27002 · You possess strong problem solving, communication, networking and team working skills · You have experience working cross-functionally, cross-site, cross-country, and cross-business · Experience in driving successful continuous improvement initiatives · You have a structured and result oriented approach to your tasks · You must be service minded and have focus on the needs of our customers · You possess strong English skills both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
