Built in 1443 as a salt warehouse, the Palais Keller was opened as a Bavarian restaurant in the Hotel Bayerischer Hof in 1972 with the purchase of the Palais Montgelas from Mr. Falk Volkhardt. In 2019, the Palais Keller was renovated by interior designer and art dealer Axel Vervoordt. In the new Palais Keller, our guests are served seasonal and regional dishes with a modern interpretation.

As part of your activities, you will carry out the following tasks, among others:

  • Active participation in planning and monitoring as well as achieving the budget
  • Ensuring and monitoring the quantitative and qualitative staff levels: Responsibility for the duty and vacation planning of all employees
  • Motivating leadership of the entire service team, taking into account the set leadership principles. Securing and increasing service quality by implementing qualification measures for employees
  • Actively assuming the role of host towards our guests, as well as receiving and resolving complaints
  • Execution of administrative work, such as managing and maintaining the guest file, accepting reservations
  • Planning, preparing and executing standard day-to-day operations and ensuring smooth operations
  • Ensuring accurate billing, maintaining cash books and depositing cash
  • Control of inventory and compliance with statutory hygiene regulations (HACCP)
  • Monitoring and ensuring quality standards throughout the restaurant area
Wymagania dotyczące stanowiska

You are a good fit for us if you have the following qualifications:

  • Successfully completed vocational training in the hotel industry or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in the upscale hotel and catering industry as well as initial management experience
  • Well-developed business thinking
  • Confidence in using common software programs such as MS Office
  • Friendly, professional and open demeanor
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, another foreign language would be an advantage
