PM Engineer for wind farm automation

Are you highly motivated for working with automation systems, and would you like to participate in the design and construction of international offshore wind farms? Join us as PM Engineer in our SCADA department with 22 engineers within our large engineering division where we are involved in all engineering phases within automation of offshore wind farms. Our tasks include working with specification design and implementation of wind farm automation systems as well as project lead of all automation deliverables. The department is part of Wind Power, which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. As you will be working on projects in Northern Europe, you may choose freely to be based either at one of our Danish office in either in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area or alternatively in our London office in the United Kingdom on local terms and conditions. Areas of responsibility Upon an introduction period in Denmark of at least a half year, you will be assigned to SCADA projects that will require you to be posted to varying construction sites for part of your working time. As the SCADA department’s representative on site, you oversee and support the work within our delivery. This means that you have a good knowledge about cable standards and commissioning work of automation hardware. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: cooperate with your colleagues in our engineering division head project tendering and tender evaluation within the field of SCADA systems manage various automation system testing commission, handover and follow-up on tasks related to the specific projects. Your profile You hold an engineering degree within IT or electrical engineering combined with experience, preferably from the energy sector, and you are highly capable in automation project management. A good knowledge of station control systems for power systems, relay protection, goose communication and relevant communication protocols for power system automation is an advantage in this job.
