What you will do
As a specialist in MES systems, you will be designing, implementing, and optimizing MES solutions tailored to our pharmaceutical clients’ specific requirements. You will bridge the gap between technology and manufacturing processes, use data-driven insights to improve efficiency and agility, reduce downtime, and maximize productivity while naturally incorporating compliance and regulatory features so that batch documentation, audit trails and document management adhere to industry standards (FDA requirements).
You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that project deliverables are met through gap analysis, requirements gathering, design of business processes, configuration, documentation, training, and operations validation.
You will ensure seamless integration between MES and other business systems, so working with many stakeholders across various functions will be part of your daily work.
Finally, as a subject matter expert in MES, you are expected to guide and train less experienced MES colleagues.
Key responsabilities
- Developing and maintaining best practice standardised building blocks for the roll-out of MES systems across various pharmaceutical companies
- Participate in designing Electronic Batch Records and Generic Master Batch records and guiding colleagues in the design.
- Ensuring that the MES system is designed, developed and implemented in every project to realise the business benefit for the customers
- Cooperating with the customer on-site regarding aspects such as gap analysis, designing business processes, configuration, documentation and validation of operations, and training before the data conversion and go-live activities.

Review, author, and execute test/validation protocols and reports for projects and patch upgrades while ensuring quality.

What you bring
- Degree in a relevant discipline, e.g. Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
- 10 years of experience working with MES, IT, and Automation in a regulated production environment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with PAS-X and preferably experience with PCS integration.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to understand customer needs and deliver results that exceed expectations.
- Willingness to travel depending on project requirements.
