With the objective to maintain our leading position in the market we are recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our mechanical department of the cold rolling Genk.
Within the mechanical department of the Cold rolling Genk, you will be responsible for the development of specific maintenance projects as mechanical revamps, setting up preventive & predictive programs, reliability cases, business continuity management, study of critical spare-parts as well as safety topics. You ensure that the lifetime of coll rolling lines and machines is increased within defined budgets.
Your role
- You define machine improvements in cooperation with production;
- You advice and support our colleagues with the purchase of technical equipment;
- You ensure that for the commissioning of the equipment improvements;
- You also ensure that HSE constraints are well taken into account when adapting, maintaining installations;
- You give guidance to the shop floor people and develop their maintenance skills;
- Y ou cooperate efficiently with internal departments, suppliers and contractors.

Your profile
- You compled a Master degree (civil engineer) in (Elektro) Mechanics, Electrical Engineering;
- You already acquired min. 2 years of working experience in a maintenance, operations role in a industrial sector (preferably heavy industrial equipment);
- You have strong interest in maintance, manufacturing, process industries;
- You are able to talk fluently Dutch, French and English.
