Ilion Animation Studios is seeking software developers to join our production team to work on production tools development. This includes the development of plugins and script for computer animated film productions.

Main responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the required Autodesk Maya scripts and plugins. following the requirements supplied by the production departments.
  • Design and development of the studio tools framework.
  • Provide support to the production departments in any issues related to interaction with Autodesk Maya.
  • Write technical and user documentation related to developed technologies and usage.
  • Keeping up-to-date with relevant updates from production technologies.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Previous Maya plugins development experience preferred
  • Good understanding of production pipelines preferred
  • Solid understanding of software design and architecture
  • Proven experience coding in C++ and/or Python
