•Baggage Handler
After a passenger checks in luggage it is transferred manually from belt and loaded on to trolleys then transports the luggage to a specific aircraft, where it is then necessary to load the luggage into the luggage compartment. The whole process must also be carried out the other way around when the goal is to unload the luggage from the landing plane. This is physical work and bags can weight up to 25kg and you may move hundreds in one shift.
•Cargo Handling
This is working on the freight side at the airport. Large pallets and loads are taken by machine from aircraft, these enter the cargo warehouse where they are manually broken down to separate consignments. These are logged onto the cargo systems, often repacked and moved by forklift to storage awaiting collection by lorries to continue shipping. This can be havy work handballing boxes and cartons and loading pallets, it will also involve driving forklifts trucks ( once trained ).
•Cleaning
This is a fast paced job and vital to aircraft turning around and keeping to schedule. Working with a team dependant on the size of the aircraft you will work at speed and remove rubbish, sanitise, vacuum and generally clean aircraft ready for its next flight. You need to be fir for this role its quite thight getting between rows and sometimes with low head height.
•Logistics
This can be working in a warehouse dealing with incoming loads that require breaking down and redirecting to their next destination. This requires scanning barcodes and logging parcels and cartons, there can be some forklift driving (after qualifying). This is manual work on your feet for most of the shift but its often warmer then the apron at the aiport.

• Is this a temporary job?
-No, although we are a recruitment company we offer permanent contracts and
guarantee full time hours.
• How long is the contract for?
-As this is a permanent contract we’d like you to stay and work with us for a long time, we
are looking for people to join us for a minimum of six months as we invest significantly in
your training. Our client also offers permanent contracts following training to some staff,
this gives the opportunity to move around the world with them.
• Is the training certified?
-Yes, the training and certificates you achieve are recognised at airports across Europe.
• Where will I live?
-We have access to shared houses or apartments through our property partners across
the Netherlands, all locations meet SNF standards, this is the government department
who ensure workers accommodation is of a good standard. We also make sure you’ll be
near the area where you’re working.
