Line Maintenance Engineer / Meccanico manutentore di aerei di linea
Zephiro Aircraft Service srl, a company specialising in aircraft maintenance, which collaborates with Northern Aerotech, is looking for 20 people with the profile of Line Maintenance Engineer.
The selected figure will have to ensure the airworthiness of aircraft during their operation, generally focusing on the maintenance and servicing of aircraft between flights or during short turnarounds.
An Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License (AMEL), issued by aviation regulatory bodies such as FAA (for the U.S.) or EASA (for Europe) is mandatory required.
This role is key to keeping aircraft safe and operational, minimising delays and ensuring compliance with aviation safety regulations.
- Certification: Typically requires an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License (AMEL), issued by aviation regulatory bodies such as FAA (for the U.S.) or EASA (for Europe).
- Previous experience on Airbus A320 or Boeing 737 aircraft is required, even on just one of these models. The company offers the possibility of specific internal training on only one of the two aircraft.

- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of aircraft systems (e.g., avionics, hydraulics, engines).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to identify even minor issues that could impact aircraft safety.
- Problem Solving: Quick and efficient troubleshooting to resolve issues under time pressure.
- Physical Fitness: The job can be physically demanding, requiring engineers to work outdoors, in tight spaces, and on their feet for long periods.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and during inclement weather.
Type of contract: Full-time, permanent contract. Gross annual salary: € 52,500. Flights and overnight accommodation paid by the company.
